Sales Policies

Thank you for your interest in our ranch! Our primary goal is the health and well-being of all our animals. If you have questions or concerns, please let us know. If we don't have an answer, we may be able to direct you to someone able to help. We also love updates. Please feel free to send us pictures of your goats in their new home.

General Sales Policies

Before placing a deposit, please know that goats are herd animals. As such, they cannot be kept alone and must have another goat companion to be happy and healthy. We will not sell a lone goat (kid or adult) if you do not have other goats similar in size/age/sex.

I reserve the right to retain any animal at any point. Reservations on future breedings are free, and strongly encouraged if you are interested in a particular breeding.

Deposits

A 50% NON-refundable deposit is required to hold an animal until pick up. Deposits can be made either through Venmo or with cash. We do not accept checks, money orders, or payment plans. The deposit will only be refunded if I, the seller, decide to retain the animal or if the animal becomes sick or injured while under my care.

The first person to put a deposit down on an animal takes priority on a purchase.

All Nigerian Dwarf goats will be dam raised and disbudded. If you would like a kid that is horned, or prefer a bottle kid instead of dam raised, 100% of the purchase price must be paid up front. This payment will be NON-refundable. For a bottle kid, pick up must happen as soon as the kid is taking a bottle well, otherwise all money will be considered forfeit, and the kid may be listed again for sale. Kids that are not disbudded, but are dam raised can still be picked up at weaning.

Pick Up

Pick up times must be scheduled in advance. The buyer (or agent) will be required to sign a contract prior to the animals being released from the property. Any remaining balance of purchase price and/or other fees will need to be paid in cash.

Kids that are dam raised will stay until weaned. Adult goats must be picked up within ten days. If an animals is not picked up within ten days of weaning (for kids) or purchase (for adults) the deposit will be considered forfeited and the animal may be listed again for sale. This time frame may be extended only with prior written authorization from myself, the seller, and boarding fees may apply.

Animal Health

ALL sales are final. In order to protect the health of our herd, animals will not be allowed back once they have left the property.  We also ask that you do not bring any animals with you for pick up.

Animals will be current on CD&T vaccination, and will be given a hoof trim prior to leaving. Any additional health tests may be available at the buyer's expense.

Animals will leave the property in good health to the best of my knowledge. Any injury or illness will be promptly disclosed to the buyer prior to pick up.

We will provide as much genetic information as we have, but please note that we cannot and do not guarantee height, show wins, milking stars, LA scores, or production of any animal.  When requesting a reservation on a breeding, some animals may have blue eyes, moonspots, or polled genetics. However, there is no way to determine what traits the kids will possess, and we make no guarantees.
