Nigerian Dwarf Does

Our does have been selected primarily for their build and milk production. We look forward to adding milk stars to our herd through ADGA's Dairy Herd Improvement Registry (DHIR).

Elite Sugar Moon RB Magpie

Magpie arrived with her lifelong friend Mardi Gras in spring of 2024. After kidding with twin bucklings 11/12/24, I could see how she made the elite list! Her udder has outstanding capacity! Her very dairy skin makes her an absolute dream to milk. She is also the sweetest girl and absolutely thrives on attention. She will not leave the milk stand without at least 18 scratches, 7 noggin smooches, 3 chin rubs, and being told she is the best girl in the world. She melts my heart every day. She is also a wonderful mother, and I really hope she has a daughter next year that can stay with her. She is an older girl, born in 2015. Her rehoming agreement was that she and Mardi would spend the remainder of their days here with us, and I'm looking forward to all of them

Sugar Moon RB Mardi Gras

Mardi arrived with her lifelong friend Magpie in spring of 2024. She kidded triplet doelings 11/14/24 with such ease. I had been hoping for a buckling from her because she has phenomenal width in her rump and excellent udder attachments that I would love to breed into the rest of my herd. She also scored EEEV 89 on Linear Appraisal as an 8-year-old. As her previous owner said, she is aging like a fine wine. She is an older girl, born in 2015. Her rehoming agreement was that she and Magpie would spend the remainder of their days here with us, and I'm looking forward to all of them

Southern Grace Lady Liberty

Lady came to us January 2023 from Southern Grace Nigerians. She has some amazing milking genetics in her pedigree. She is much more aloof than everyone else and has been slow to warm up to people, but she has settled in with the other does very nicely. Her first kidding was textbook perfect, delivering lovely triplets! Her milk production is stellar and her mammary system is phenomenal!! She should easily earn her milk star this year. I am retaining her one doeling from 2024.

Legacy Ranch Quarantini

Tini arrived at our ranch in April of 2022 from Legacy Ranch. She is the first goat I've had who is a complete attention hog! She would let people pet her every minute of the day. She yells at us when we are working elsewhere in the yard and not paying attention to her. She is also the only one of my adult goats I can smooch on the head without worrying about getting my teeth knocked out. I absolutely love her to pieces. While she did freshen in October of 2021, she wasn't put on milk test at that time. Her dam is GCH Harlequin B Whimsical 4*M who has been an amazing producer for Legacy Ranch. Her lactation in 2023 was cut short when she fell sick in August. She was on track to earn a star, but we unfortunately couldn't complete enough tests for her to qualify. Her udder texture is like velvet and she is a beautifully bred girl. I'm so happy she is here with us.

Big Dream Acres BM * Magnolia

I know everyone says it, but Maggie is the best little goat ever! She was born Feb 2022 at Big Dream Acres with three much larger siblings. Though she was tiny, she was fierce, but still in need of a little extra TLC, so she came to us as a bottle baby. Like her name, she has blossomed beautifully and maintained her feisty spirit. Even under a year old, she already has amazing length, width, and wonderful carriage. Her full sister born a year before has done wonderful things in the show ring and the milk genetics she carries are phenomenal! I am looking forward to see this beauty continue to grow and mature. I have no doubts that she will be a head-turner.

Prairiewind IL Thyra

This drop-dead gorgeous girl is Thyra. She came to us from MGO Farms. She is an ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf and has a lovely carriage, while not being too slender. She was quite timid when she first arrived, but has since opened up and now loves to have her neck scratched, as long as she doesn't have to compete too much with the other girls. Thyra's sire is the amazing GCH Phoenix Farm Icebird Legacy +*B!! With superior genetics from her sire and Castle Rock lines behind her dam, I could not pass up the chance to bring such amazing genetics to our ranch.

Marshbilly Farm Crimson Clover

Clover is such a fun addition to our ranch! My son "claimed" her very quickly after her arrival. She is into absolutely everything and has no idea what "personal space" means. She will also eat almost anything. We now have to be careful where we leave scraps for our chickens, because they may become Clover snacks. She came to us from Marshbilly Farm, and we are so grateful she has made it here to us.

Tree By A River Libertas

Libby is the first retained doeling born here. She has such a bubbly personality and refuses to be ignored. Her dam, Lady Liberty, is absolutely gorgeous and peaked at 4.1 pounds of milk during her first lactation. I'm so excited to see what Libby can do!
